SHAHID RAJIB THAPA son of Sri Kumar Thapa of Mechpara No 8. PO & PS Kalchini in Alipurduar District West Bengal India was SHAHID on 23 rd August 2019 in J&K while he was in duty in Indian Army . To Save the Country and Save the country he paid Supreme Sacrifice of his live . A motherb lost her son , a wife lost her husband and little child lost her father for ever . We being of inhabitants of Kalchini Block felt Pride & Honoured of Rajib Thapa .
After one year the Family members along with neighbour & relatives a Statue had been made at Mechpara No 8 Bara Chowpathi and 23 rd August 2020 the Statue of SHAHID RAJIB THAPA was unveiled in presence of so many so many.people and dignitaries . With Proud and Emotional atmosphere the Statue unveiling program concluded . Ribon of SHAHID RAJIB THAPA Statue gate was inaugurated by his father , National Flag hosted by Sri Mohan Sharma with little daughter of Him Kabya and main Statue was unveiled by his mother Rina Thapa and wife Khusboo Thapa in presence of Sri Mohan Sharma, Sri Bipin Gupta ,Sri Passag Lama , Myself , Bishal Lama , BDO Bhusan Sherpa , OC Kalchini , SSB pana Incharge and many more . A huge ex service persons were paid the Tribute to Him through March Pass .
